Well I left wet Tassy to arrive in wet Sydney (so weather is being consistent) and have had a wander round Darling harbour or should that be a harbour Darling.
I decided that the best way to see the surrounds would be to jump on or hop on, a hop on hop off bus, and on my merry way saw Bondi (empty rain puts people off going to the beach, unless you are a surfer and then I think come hell and high water though probably the higher the better if you are a surfer)
capital fun in NSW

Then it was off back on the bus to see Opera House, Bridge, the Barracks , and the Royal Mint (no chocolates unfortunately), the Aquarium (cutest platypus lives there) and on for some more surfer spotting at Manly Beach, where the sun decided to rise and shine, making it a rather beautiful day
Have headed to Putney to see my ex tent buddy Beth, and we are heading to Wollongong ( i love the gong, as they call it) then it was over the beautiful Blue Mountains, where I went on the scariest train ride, whose claim to fame is to be the most vertical track in the world ( at an angle of 52 degrees, and you leave to the sound of Indiana Jones music) to see her home town before heading to Wellington where she works, and we went to see the local caves, home of grafffiti from the mid 1800's
