Final Destination - Days 1 and 2

Well, in order to keep her green card from expiring, my wife went for a total 5-day trip to Las Vegas with a friend from her work.  She said it was really fun.  From LAX they flew into Las Vegas airport and took a bus to their hotel.

When she left she told me that they weren't going to sleep the whole time as they only had three days.

Well, Midori and her friend, true to form, started off the first night by walking around the strip(I think she was looking for the CSI folks!!) checking out the big sites like the MGM Grand, the pirate show, the big volcano and fountain shows and also having a gondola ride at the Venetian.  Sounds like fun, right!?  Well, her friend who was so excited to go to the United States and more so, to Vegas, was almost immediately turned off by all the SMELLS!!  He couldn't stand the smells of all the different culture's foods mixed together with the other city smells!!  Anyway, he excused himself and went back to the hotel and hardly ate anything the rest of the trip!!  This left Midori to do some exploring on her own and to eventually head back to the hotel for a few hours sleep.

The next day it was more of the same with shopping, oh, the shopping!  You should see the stuff she brought back!! A&F, Bannana Republic, Coach!!  It was a bit much but it was her money!  That night it was Cirque.  What a show, Ka, I think it was.  She said it was awsome as are most all of their shows.
