Today we woke to a blue sky and decided to walk over to the North End (for you non-Boston types read: Italian town) and had "breakfast" at Mike's Pastry. Dallas wanted to take pictures of all the goods. We visited Paul Revere's house and followed the Freedom Trail to the Old North Church and over to Copps Hill Burying Ground with its 300 & 400 year-old gravestones.

After lunch at "a little Italian place on Hanover St" we came back to the hotel. My cousin Kathy called to say she would pick us up and head to the beach. What a treat for me. I haven't been to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire since I was a kid and it hasn't changed. Dallas even took a dunk in the chilly Atlantic Ocean (after burying himself in the sand.) A long drive along the coast, a lobster dinner (D had another cheeseburger) and we got back to our hotel satisfied and exhausted. Just as I was about to go into the shower my cousin Maureen called from the lobby and I went down to talk to her. Dallas said to me, "I've meet four of your cousins now. . .  haven't I?"

Well Pansy - A "Blooming Bud" goes abroad. Chuck Moore and all other "Blooming Buds" would be so proud. Personally, I thank for this site. Now I don't have to feel jealousy or envy. I have the pleasure of experiencing your trip along with you and "Rhett". So my friend with you at the wheel; I've fasten my seat belt for my "E" ticket ride. God Bless your travels.- Kare

Pat: What a great way to share your adventures with your grandson. A beautiful memory that will last a lifetime. Now if only "grandma" can hold up, but look at it as training for the trip to Europe. You could include Bunker Hill, Boston Common, or go out to 64 Cleveland Street in Revere and show him where Nana lived and check Lynn Square to see if the ice cream diner is still there. Love, Stormy
