We both had restless sleep due to our sun burn. We got breakfast and got on the tour bus at 10.10. First we went passed Santa Monica pier and then up into the hills to see where some famous people live (Sylvestor Stallone, Kurt Russell, Shaq O'Neal). From here we went to Beverley Hills and to Rodeo Drive where we got out and LOOKED around the posh shops. Next stop was the Hollywood walk of fame where all of the stars are in the pavement and The Kodak Theatre is. We had to race around taking pictures as we only had a 20 minute stop! We then drove along Sunset Strip and then Mulholland Drive which winds up the sides of the hills to an observation area from which we could see the Hollywood sign, central LA etc. We dropped off some poeple who were going to the Universal Studios before returning to our hostel. When back we spoke to the manager about our mssing food and she gave us 50% off 1 nights stay ($23). We then went to Vons and replaced the food that went missing. Tonight we had something different for dinner...RICE and tuna! After we went for a walk down 3td Street Promenard in which the trees are lit up with fairy lights and there are dinosaurs made from bushes. The weather was nice today not quite as sunny as yesterday. Andy is still red from sunburn.
