It was a Fenway day. We took the tour this morning and got to sit in the press box and on the Green Monster among other places. Then after visiting the team store (of course) we headed back uptown. We left our hotel for the game around 5:45 and got to Yawkey Way in time to see the carnival atmosphere that is a Red Sox game. Our seats were great, the weather was fabulous (a little sprinkle that started in the 8th inning didn't bother us at all) and the Red Sox beat the Nationals 11 to 3. We even got to see one of the boys hit a home run over the wall. It was a great day. Tomorrow we're off to the North End and maybe the beach.
