After leaving Savannah, we drove straight to Washington, D.C. area to visit my cousin, Jeff and his wife Jill who live in Ashburn, VA. On Monday, Jeff took us into D.C. and we saw the World War II Memorial, The Smithsonian Museum of American History and Natural History. We also walked by the Washington Monument and the White House.
That evening, Jill & Jeff made us a homecooked meal and allowed us to utilize their laundry facilities and wireless internet. Their pride and joy also kept us entertained - Jonty and Trinny ( the new baby). They are little French Bulldogs and are soooo cute!!!! It was great to meet them and see Jeff & Jill again.
