Chittoe

Brisbird has visited no places in Chittoe

As the sun set on this overcast day, we made it to the Bristol area around 7pm and stopped at a local Marks&Spensor food stop and purchased salad wraps and drinks to takeaway for dinner later.  Onwards towards Chippenham, then Chittoe where our B&B was situated. We found the lane turnoff and headed down the single width road very slowly using the instructions given to us by our host. Down the bottom of the covered lane, past the old vicarage, after the street light, turn sharp right and drive down the driveway. We were greeted by our friendly host Ginny, who led us into her warm home and shown our upstairs to the "Indigo" room.  Besides the bedroom, we had a separate dressmng room and a bathroom - with a nice big bath. After struggling upstairs with our heavy suitcases, we settled down at the dining table to eat our dinner. I was exhausted from the long driving and just wanted to rest and go to bed. After eating however, I was refreshed and enjoyed a lovely hot cuppa and looked through a beautiful pictorial book of scenes and animals in South Aftica, the country of our Hosts birth. While I did this, Joe set up the laptop to access on their wireless network to check his email and for me to upload some of my travel updates. That was it for today.

Now this is country England...
