Day 82 - Marina del Rey - Los Angeles - 64 Miles - Total 3496 Miles

Finished!!!!

a few quick notes:-

A strange day, it did not go according to plan, especially the two flats that i had! We miscalculated the distance by 20 miles, and reached the sea at Marina Del Rey in darkness at 7, to late for historic photos, so a reenactment is scheduled for tomorrow. The friend that we expected to meet us was ill and not able to be there, we had no hotel room, and had to  hire a car to drive  40 miles  to another friends, to crash for the night.

With all that going on,it really hasn't hit me that it is all over, that i dont have to get up tomorrow to ride my bike, and that soon i shall be saying good bye to my friend and traveling companion Rob.

So now a couple of days to pack up he bike and do a  bit of sightseeing, over time i hope to fill in some of the blanks in this narrative, so please call back now and then, thanks for your interest. Bye for now Clive
