Chad, offically the “Republic of Chad,” is a landlocked country in central Africa with a tumultuous past and desert climate. In the north is has the Tibesti Mountains, the largest mountain chain in the Sahara Desert. Zakouma National Park is one of Chad’s sources of pride, with wildlife and beauty amongst its many treasures.
