Western Sahara Vacations

Largely a desert flatland in northwestern Africa, Western Sahara is one of the most sparsely populated territories in the world. Bordered by Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, and the Atlantic Ocean, Western Sahara is currently administered predominantly by Morocco. Previously a Spanish colony, it has been on the United Nations list of Non-Self-Governing Territories since the 1960s.  Its largest city is El Aaiun, home to over a third of its population.
